Technology Used During iPixel Treatment

The special iPixel handpiece is designed for skin resurfacing, rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, and minimizing scars and stretch marks.
The innovative technology used by the iPixel laser replaces a single laser beam with dozens of microbeams, each with a well-controlled depth of penetration into the epidermis and dermis. These microbeams create numerous microscopic injuries in the treated areas, triggering a faster skin regeneration process.

Procedure

During the treatment, approximately 20% of the treated surface is exposed to the laser. The session lasts between 15 to 40 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area. During the procedure, patients may feel a slight burning sensation. Full skin regeneration occurs about one month after the treatment.

Possible Side Effects

After the procedure, the skin may be slightly red and begin to peel. Mild dryness and a feeling of tightness may also occur.
