DERMAPEN is a treatment designed to smooth wrinkles, even out pigmentation, and rejuvenate the skin’s appearance.
How does it work? By automatically puncturing the skin with pulsating needles – the micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration processes, leading to its renewal in a natural way.
The technology used in the procedure depends on the product applied.
The Dermapen device features 12 disposable molybdenum needles. Molybdenum is considered the most advanced material used in the production of surgical tools.
The precisely selected injection depth during Dermapen (ranging from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm) and varying puncture speeds allow for full control over the procedure.
At DERMA+, we use only ingredients with a high degree of penetration into the skin during fractional microneedling therapy, in optimal concentrations, to best stimulate the skin and accelerate its regenerative processes.
DERMA+ HA FACE includes:
- An optimal concentration (5 mg/ml) of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid for maximum penetration and hydration of the deeper skin layers.
- Antioxidants to neutralize free radicals generated in the skin during needling.
- Vitamins and trace elements to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
- Peptides that biostimulate fibroblasts.
- Substances that accelerate skin healing after the procedure.
DERMAPEN™ Procedure
The skin can be numbed with an anesthetic cream and then thoroughly disinfected. After applying the appropriate product (selected based on the skin type and problem), several passes are performed to ensure the treated areas are thoroughly covered.
During the DERMAPEN™ procedure, uniform skin redness is visible, and pinpoint bleeding may occur.
Despite deep needling up to 2.5 mm, there is no formation of hematomas or bruises.
By puncturing the skin with very fine needles, micro-injuries are caused, which stimulate the skin to self-heal and trigger natural regeneration processes. The microneedling used in the Dermapen treatment initially stimulates the skin’s natural growth factors, followed by activation of fibroblasts and the production of collagen and elastin fibers. In the final phase of this process, regenerative processes occur.
The accelerated regeneration of the epidermis is visible as slight flaking. This entire process thickens and firms the skin, reduces visible wrinkles, narrows pores, and diminishes acne scars.
