Injection lipolysis is a safe and minimally invasive procedure, especially for small amounts of fatty tissue, where classic methods of modeling do not bring satisfactory results.
Injection lipolysis is an aesthetic medicine procedure aimed at reducing fat in selected areas of the body. The procedure involves direct injection of a preparation containing substances that cause the breakdown of fat cells, such as phosphatidylcholine or sodium deoxycholate. The resulting released fat enters the bloodstream and then the liver and is excreted from the body through natural metabolic processes.
Injection lipolysis treatment is used for body contouring when the problem is localized excess fat, resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a weight-loss method, but it effectively promotes the reduction of fat from a particular area, such as the chin, armpits, knees, abdomen, hips or thighs.
Injection lipolysis can reduce the fatty second chin, giving the face a slimmer appearance.
The treatment effectively works on fat accumulations under the armpits, improving body contour.
For fat deposits that are difficult to reduce in classic problem areas of the body, lipolysis treatment provides effective fat reduction.
Lipolysis also boosts metabolism, stimulates lymphatic drainage and reduces swelling.
Possible side effects and adverse reactions (usually transient):
It is most effective performed in a series - the number of treatments depends on the area and amount of fat, but usually 2-4 sessions are needed. Intervals between treatments should be about 4 weeks.
The effects of injection lipolysis are visible gradually - about 3-4 weeks after the procedure. For small fat deposits, one session is usually enough.
